Off to Berlin and Heading East. 03/28/2011
Handed in all Media Sandbox films, shot the short " The things I think about" and left for travels abroad... on the way I was curious to start writing my feature film " Looking For Lenka" A young man goes to rekindle a romantic fling in Hungry only to find the girl, Lenka, terminally ill. He risks loosing everything as he finds himself staying to become her carer. My trip took me from Berlin east towards Budapest, passing many countries, encountering and experiencing great people and stories. I ended up in Budapest where I attended a " moving districts' European film workshop, where i took part in several film and audio task, one of them was a three day film. I found it a challenge scripting with other people, whose ideas were very different to mine, we eventually made Vizlat" ( farewell) My trip took me beyond Budapest, getting inspiration for my feature, and i got the traveling bug and headed south to the Balkans, Serbia, Bosnia, Croatia and Montenegro. |
